Oh well, I wasn't asleep anyway since some drug addicts just tried to kick in my neighbor's door because "she owed them". They had the wrong house, called the police because someone stole their drugs, and they brought their 4 year old with them. I suppose, in the end, not getting a house in-game isn't as bad as it could be!

I agree. I'm in the same position you are. I FINALLY have the money to purchase the plot and found the exact one I've been waiting on. This is complete BS that they give the FC's this long to purchase a plot. If they haven't done it by now, they aren't going to. They need to open it up for the people that don't have a house and want to get one.

If I didn't already have a house and this was a primary focus, I would be gone with the wind. Enabling behaviors doesn't extinguish them. Plenty of quality MMOs out there with housing and everything you have here. It's difficult for people that are vested in time and relationships, comfort in game, etc., to move on but sometimes it's the best recourse. Just one player's opinion *shrug*.
