    I would like you to cite when this law was voted, because I doubt it exists. To name a few, Theatrhythm (normal and Curtain call) were released without any translation whatsoever and these games are younger than FFXIV (especially version 1, when the French and German translations were decided).

    The only law I am aware of that sounds like that is a Quebec one saying that if a French version is released somewhere, then it must be released in Quebec as well.
