    Keeping the player base active after raiding "Idea".

    I first of all want to point out this is obviously not an original idea I came up with or anything. Anyway..
    Why not pull from another game the idea of progressively harder dungeons with greater rewards? For example, WoW's Mythic+ dungeon system.

    Players start the week with a level 1 key for a certain dungeon. As you complete it in certain time periods you obtain another key which could be level 3 now. Then level 4, or 7 or 20. Whatever you end up getting to that week and it becomes so hard you can't go any further. Mobs/boss damage increases each tier of key, mob/boss HP increases the higher your key gets, and so on. The higher you go the greater the rewards you could potentially receive, with a bonus chest at the end of the week depending on what you got your key to.

    The rewards don't necessarily have to be gear either, maybe chances of receiving a penta meldable crafting piece, a rare crafting material , a rare minion, whatever the case is.

    Also, to add in because I ran out of space in the original post. Some players aren't huge fans of raiding. This would be a great way for 4 friends to get together and do harder content without having to get a group of 8 people together to do a raid.

    It's a nice idea. There also Should be just unique glamour rewards for how fast you and your party completed such duties.

    It sounds like they've pulled an idea from another game. Just in this case the other game was FFXI, and it's in the form of Eureka. I'd wait and see what that ends up being first.

    I like the Mythic+ system WoW has. I'm not sure FFXIV has the scaling tech necessary for it to function though. They'd have to build that from scratch and... well... Diadem...

    they hinted at 4 player "hard" content so well see what that ends up being. Also they seem to want achievements wow style (raid achievements = "glamour" rewards i am guessing) For now lets see what they manage with eureka, I don't need it to be tough as nails as ff 11 but am hoping it has that nice just "be and grind" kinda air to it where you can just go ham and kill a day or take it easier and kill a few hours etc. Wouldn't want a game solely based around that but i welcome the addition as an option.
