I would like the original PvP skills to be added back. Some classes received some of theirs but it would be nice to have Pushback, and Full Swing on tanks with Tetsudo and some of the others.
For MCH, I'd like Gauss Round and a binding ability once more.
Gauss Round serves roughly the same purpose for MCH as Empyreal Arrow does for BRD; a low CD, fairly hard hitting oGCD skill. MCH currently lacks any significant on-demand oGCDs (Between The Eyes has, if I recall, a 30 sec CD, and requires bind/stun/sleep to hit for its maximum damage, and currently MCH can only stun for it, which requires they move in close), and this can be felt in all the wrong ways in a close match when your opponent is nearly KOed and you're stuck in a GCD. You can literally feel the opportunity lost.
And the bind was effectively explained above in the comment about BTE. Would also help with disengages or escapes, somewhat.
I'm not against it, but the majority of the old BRD burst survived and is still possible except Farshot, while nothing but BTE survived yet nerfed.
Trust me I feel your pain... I have many warrior friends from 3.5 who basically cry everytime now in PvP. The elimination of upheaval is meh. From the perspective I see with War right now is they want you to defiance to 100 rage, drop, IR and 4 cleaves for burst with Holmgang.
Bard should have a skill that buff the party, a song buff?
When they removed the MP refresh, Battlefield March, they gave BRD Troubadour, which if I recall is an attack buff when under Wanderer's Minuet, and a defense buff when under Army's Paeon.
From a pure discussion perspective, no, MCH should not get another CC ability such as bond with how Snipe is working currently. When Snipe is properly setup with wild fire, the burst is up to near 10k, it is simply too much
BTE is a 1000 potency skill. That's less than any of the standard 3 shots with ammo. ONLY when the target is bound, stunned, or slept does it become a 3000 potency skill. Currently, the only way a MCH can pull that off on their own is by using Stun Gun - the only aoe stun in PvP - and they have to be close range, there's a 2 second window to use BTE, and Stun Gun forces an Overheat where you perhaps may want to stun a target, but not immediately Overheat.
And in an ideal setting with all 5 stacks of Flamethrower and a "best" Wildfire setup, 7K is more probable. No one's standing still long enough to get 5 stacks, and if they do, they deserve to eat a 7K burst.
