Possible grammar mistake

My main language is not English, so I am not sure if it's actually a mistake or not.
I just started the game and when the NPC Momodi (in Ul'dah) was giving her linkpearl to me, an explanation in blue letters appeared on the screen explaining its functions.
The explanation says: "Linkpearls are a quick and convenient way to communicate with other across Eorzea, wherever they may are."
According to my knowledge (which, I repeat, might be wrong), the correct way to say that would be either "wherever they may be" or "wherever they are".
Correct me if I am wrong, I am just trying to help here. ^^

Well, actually there is an "s" at the end of "other", it was my typo.

Yup, looks like a difference of opinion between translator and editor that got botched in the final draft. This will be fixed for 1.21. Thanks for the post, Blaon!
