SCH Miasma II. What am I missing?

Hey guys,

As per the tooltip for miasma II. It's 100 potency + 25 for 12s (total of about 200 potency). Comparatively Broil II is 230 potency.

Now I've been looking at 99 percentile scholars on fflogs and they all consistently keep a decent miasma II uptime on single targets (I would say on the order of 50%). Some pushing it way further.

What gives? you would expect scholars to use Broil II rather than miasma II. At first I thought it was because they had spell speed builds but it doesn't really look to be the case (I would say they stand around the 1k ss mark). Instead they have either a ton of piety to make good use of miasma II for those with higher miasma II uptime, or crit as you would expect.

So again... What am I missing? Is miasma II working well with raid buffs? or is it something else?
