Is it still worth it though? Doesn't it only do about half of the item's size so you essentially have less to work with than it did in the screenshots posted by the owner of https://imgur.com/a/u7kXp ? Or am I looking too critically at it? For that matter, how do you clip beds and stuff onto it /now/? Don't you still have to clip it through the wall or is there something there that I'm missing? How do you clip a backdrop to it that's separate from the lower "floor"? I saw that some suggested clipping blank partitions up to those locations to do a separate backdrop, but we kind of come to the same issue, do we not..?

Alice actually used the same glitch there, but used multiple stages to make the loft quite large. (she also did it when it was a lot easier to do) The bed and wardrobe appears to have been placed with the same glitch; the rest of the items are tabletop. Some pieces of furniture (like partitions) don't divide as severely as the stages do, the stage is just really large. The glitch works by the placement of the center marking above the window; for the stage, it causes it to clip out, but for something small the effect is not noticeable.

We never had full access to items like the stages with this glitch before, it's more or less the exact same functionally.

Only tabletop items can go on the stage since it's technically considered a table. So yes you are limited to glitching.

But there's some itens that you can improvise to look like something that they arent if you are creative enough. Like, you can use shelfs to make a "table", cushions to use as 'chair'. Though it will not be a 'new floor', you can still do a lot with that, just need some creativity!

Everything in my loft is a tabletop item, and you should still be able to do everything in Alice's loft. The bed, I think, is a Riviera Canopy Bed? glitched into the same place the loft is. But because it sits a bit higher, it clips through the floor. So, all of these are still doable

Yes, that's the unfortunate nature of the loft glitch. Resting the center point of the furniture on top of a window's small flat surface will cause it to place there. But in the process the other half of the furniture sunk into the wall will be lost.

I'd like to clarify a little thing with this part: If you try to glitch a bed normally it will not even pop up through the stage. The reason my bed managed to peek through the stage is because it's resting on top of a doorway. There is an invisible FC door under where I glitched the bed and you can use that as a point to do the new loft glitch on.
