If it's boring you to tears, skip the scenes and click thru the text as fast as you can. Then you just gotta go where your supposed to, kill what you need, bring what you need to whom needs it, and start HW. It really isn't that much of a "slog" if you're blowing thru the text and scenes without a care for them.

Or just find a different game to play. *shrug*
