Falcon and Wolf Mounts

I know lots of people like the glowing mounts and I can see why the different colours would appeal to people, however I'd love to know if we can obtain a falcon and wolf without the effects around them?

I'm probably in the minority who want them without the glowing or unique music but I'd really like them plain. There is a plain falcon that transports you from The Ruby Sea to Yanxia and it's great so I hope we can get them at some point. I'd trade my centurio tiger on my other account for a plain wolf.

I too also like no effect on certain things. The glowing effect is not preferred by all people. They already do it with weapons, so why not with mounts?

well there is a glowless version of the falcon in the far east, so there is a possibility we may have it one day, mayhaps we might get it by the end of 4.x or something

I don't see why not, other than potentially making players angry who farmed for them. I don't get angry, but others might.

My original post was gonna say "well then it wouldn't have the 'fantasy' appeal that FFxiv strives for" but then I remembered there's a plain bear and a plain tiger...

+1 ever since coming across the falcon porters I've thought it would be cool to have one as a mount (and no, the reward lanners don't count)

I would love this, seeing those falcons in SB areas made me want to have one. A plain white wolf would be beautiful as well.

Well, I'd never say no to more options. As much as I like some of the fancy, glowy mounts we've gotten over the years, sometimes (most of the time) I stick to the more subdued mounts anyway, so I'm sure I'd get some use out of this!.
