OMG, I know the feel. I know this healer, a red-haired lalafell, with lavender eyes, playing as a SCH. They start every dungeon run with this macro about how they'll be the lala for the run and how cute they are. And if there is more than one lala, they have a follow up macro saying that they are cute too. And if the whole party is a lala, there is one saying the cuteness is over 9000...

and the worst part... people find this adorable, and give them all the commies... how can other players compete with that... Y.Y

But In all seriousness that healer sounded like a douche, a rare douche, but still a douche. I have to bite my tongue when I watch some healers. Cause I have to remember that how I think healing should be done and what is required don't always line up. Not to mention you never know who is on the other side of the screen. It could be someone with a major disability, who is trying there best, and we shouldn't shame them for not playing to our specifications. As long as someone is friendly, responsive, and actively trying, I'll stick with them as long as I can.

But still, a list, who does thst?

Also for those curious about that healer I mentioned above. This is gonna be a gamble on my part but I'm gonna post their name.... Mwahahahahahaha....
It's me, lol. And no joke, I get a lot of commies with that macro. 4k+ strong. Hope to hit 5k before 5.0. One can dream

I like helping people with their Job ideas, it's fun to help them visuallize and create the job they'd like to play most. Plus I make my own too, I'll post them eventually.

But that douche healer definitely take “slowly” to a whole new meaning lol

I mean, I've once seen a healer with such a macro but it was more on line of (I'm new to healing, plz dont do huge pull as I am too experienced. Don't expect me to dps too much Im still new to the job etc etc)
Which was actually a proper warning, like "don't play dumb I'm not a good healer"

That macro is an old meme, Chloe. No need to response seriously to begin with.
What was serious about it? The person's comment in question was covered in the second line of my very first post. Nobody was really discussing how these macro-warriors are created - after all, it's common sense that some will boil into that role over time, rather than instantly flip their table at the first sign of dungeon-drama and craft a righteous macro-rant. I imagine it takes quite a bit for some of them to believe such macros are doing themselves a favour, however.

As for those mentioning vote-kick, yes, there is that, yet when normal content requires a 15minute wait before it can be used, this isn't exactly a desirable solution as you're either in it for the long-haul by the time said 15minutes expires (ie. may as well endure the nonsense if the team have trucked on anyway), or people will leave of their own accord anyway, which is fine, though if you're a DPS who waited 30minutes for a dungeon, having a team leave because of one bitter dictator isn't exactly a barrel of fun, even if you can leave (unpunished) and re-queue.

That would be a good joke. Demands like "Red Mages should wear RED", just to joke with him.

I'd pull the whole dungeon if I was tanking and I saw that then vote kick the healer asap.
I like bigger pulls too. It forces me to actually heal (between some holy casts).

A healer shouldn't dictate how the dungeon should run.
It is the tank's job to evaluate how good the group is, at what pace the run can be done.

If the tank goes too fast, there will be a wipe : up to him then to adjust the speed...

Honestly it just sorta sounds to me as if he was trolling :P.
And to be fair, I rarely say '' hello '' either even tho I can be talkative.
It's pretty random whether I'll say it or not.

I never give anyone a hard time if I don't think that they're doing things right tho.
Not even if we're wiping a lot, so long as they're actually trying and not deliberately messing up.
The closest to me getting mad that you'll ever get is when I am tanking and dps runs ahead and pulls ( even tho I do big pulls, I am NOT a slow tank. I am very fast in my tanking ).
First time I'll just go: '' Let tank pull plz. ''.
Second time I'll go: '' Next time I'll let you die ''.
And the third time I just either votekick or leave myself.
That's about as far as my '' rage '' and '' snobbiness '' goes. And I don't really leave out of anger or anything, it's just a game. But mainly because I don't want to perpetuate bad behaviour.

Pretty much, I never really say anything about that when I am healing.
If the tank is slow then I just assume that he/she might either be new or have just recently come back from a break. And even if that isn't the case then no big deal
