but on the topic, i think it would be a good thing to implement seeing the numbers, i just hope it works out better than the german one for your sake... it may be just me but i cant play that at all without cringing. what has to be considered thou is that they plan to voice all major cutscenes in 4 languages already, i dunno if they are willing to add a fifth voice language considering the cost and work (they could scrap german voices for spanish for as much as i care... they are horrible no matter what media *shudder*)

Me gusta mucho el juego pero entiendo muy muy poquito el Inglés (solo llevo 2 meses estudiandolo).

Es muy triste ir haciendo las quest apretando como un loco el ratón para que pase lo antes posible el texto.. y leer como compañeros comentan lo bonita que ha sido las quest.

Porque empecé a traducirlas pero a veces las entendía menos con la traducción del google.

It is very sad to go doing the quest pressing the mouse like crazy to pass the text as soon as possible .. and read and comment on how nice fellow who has been the quest.

I'm from Selbina, and I support this thread. In my LS there are like 5 spanish-speakers, including myself. We all can understand and write english, but it is incredible the feeling when you find a fellow hispanic in this game. If german is included, being a language way less spoken than spanish, why not incluing spanish?

I don't support however, the idea of having the whole hispanic community in a single server, intercultural communication is not only good, but needed for a real MMORPG experience.

Claro que apoyo que se traduzca FFXIV al español. He jugado desde los inicios de FFXI, conozco a muchísima gente que habla español y que sólo da spam enter en las CS por que no tienen ni idea de lo que están diciendo... triste de verdad por que el juego cuenta con una rica historia.

En FFXIV estoy en el server de Trabia y en FFXI en Lakshmi :P

Soy hablante nativa de español (México), estoy en el servidor Trabia y soy miembro de la linkshell Sabotenders -linkshell de hablantes del español, sea su lengua nativa o no, por cierto-

A pesar que yo puedo entender perfectamente el contenido del juego en inglés, se de mucha gente hispanohablante que le encanta el juego pero no entiende casi nada y le cuesta comunicarse con gente que no habla español, por lo tanto casi no interactúa o más bien no puede interactuar bien con gente que no hable español como ellos. Así que no hay excusa tal como que no hay suficiente mercado por este lado también como para que no puedan tan siquiera considerar hacer una versión del juego en español.

A su vez, también hay mucha gente que quiere jugar el juego, sin embargo el hecho de que el juego no esté en español significa un gran obstáculo para ellos como jugadores.

En mi opinión, éstas personas merecen la oportunidad de jugar al máximo. No nos menosprecien a los latinoamericanos por vivir en Latinoamérica y piensen que los únicos que tienen billetes en sus bolsillos para pagar el juego son los españoles por el hecho de vivir en Europa, por que habemos muchos que hemos estado en este juego desde la beta y estamos pagando desde ya. Así que no hay tal excusa de no haber mercado como para no considerar hacer una versión al español de este juego.

Para mis compañeros hispanohablantes de otros servidores: espero que en el futuro nos juntemos la mayoría de gente posible en un mismo servidor para poder conocerlos a todos ustedes y jugar juntos
