Español no es mi lengua materna, pero estoy de acuerdo con esto. As veces es más fácil para mí entender el español, que Inglés.

Yo soy de Besaid tambien de la linkshell sangre hispana y lo que nunca llegare a entender es porque los unicos final fantasy que no estan traducidos son los online, yo lo quiero traducido a mi idioma nativo ,ademas para que empatice la gente que no
entienda lo que escribo les remitire a http://translate.google.es/ para que imaginen como juega mucha gente de mi idioma natal .

Solo dare una puntualizacion world of warcraft cuando se tradujo al español rompio todo el mercado...
si no lo creen miren revistas especializadas o busquen solo en google.

PD:si piden una traduccion a su idioma porfavor pediria que posteasen en su idioma puesto que si no saben ingles...¿porque pedir una traduccion? asi se vera que la comunidad hispanohablante es muy extensa. nos vemor por eorzea

soy de besaid de la linkshell sangre hispana siempre e jugado los final fantasy porque aparte de su jugabilidad las historias son lo mejor, hay algo que no entiendo el porque el final fantasy xi y el final fantasy xiv no estan en español, no entiendo nada del ingles y siempre voy dandole al google traductor para poder entender algo de la historia o siempre preguntado a la gente, y eso no esta bien, me gustaria que este final fantasy estubiera subtitulado al español, solo decir que tengo amigos que no quieren entrar en el juego porque no esta en español, y se van a otros juegos online por ejemplo: world of warcraft, y bueno espero que estos post que hay aqui se lean y se tenga en cuenta pero sobre todo que mireis lo que decimos y no lo paseis por alto, porque creo que seria una solucion para muchos.

I thought I'd just drop by here to express my support to the Spanish community even though I'm not concerned myself.
I'm French and although I am happy to see that FFXIV gets translated in my language, I still play in English because I'm fine with understanding pretty much everything.

But I understand the need for a Spanish translation of the game, I know there are Spanish players on my server and probably a lot more on the others and they should be taken into account.

Spanish is spoken in more countries than German for example, but still we get to have a German translation (no favoritism here).

I'd say maybe start by adding a Spanish section in the official forums along with one Spanish-English speaking community rep to see if there is enough interest for them to add a Spanish version of the game.

Servidor Besaid.SE,sois conscientes de que esto no es una cosa nueva,ya en FFXI se produjo un evento familiar,incluso se crearon webs de recogidas de firmas...los castellanoparlantes llevamos años pidiendo que se nos tengan en consideracion,creo que seria siendo hora de que fueramos escuchados,o por lo menos,unos motivos del porque no quieren.

I was thinking that the different language translations might be a viable option once they start allowing the community to mod the game.

If they allowed access to the game's narrative script I don't see how this couldn't be possible for the community itself to translate it into any language it deems necessary as long as there was a group of people willing to do so.

Considering that the proposals in this thread are pretty modest for such a huge potential audience. It's not like you are asking for everything to be translated, not even Spanish voice acting for that matter, which would definitely have a large cost attached to it. If you can't get an official translation I think it would still be in SE's best interest to open up this area of the game to the mod community as there are obviously willing participants across the board in regards to translation.

Yo soy argentino y estoy en gysahl, aca tambien esta un amigo y tambien conosco a otros 4 que estan en Trabia. Estamos un poco divididos la verdad xD. Pero bueno, no es tiempo de echar culpas pero un poco la tuvo una cierta LS de Besaid que se creo de un foro muy importante hara un año y medio atras y que creo que ya no existe mas.

Estaria bueno verlo en español al juego, ademas que tendriamos un mejor soporte tecnico, pero la verdad no creo que esto suceda .
