And not a single MNK weapon has dropped... could you add more weapons to the chest drop and make it so it can't drop double of an item? Or something? It's getting a little out of hand.

And yes I know I could buy the weapon but I'd rather not buy anything till I have the mount.. of which I've only seen 1 drop.

Just buy the bloody weapon. We won't even be able to buy the Susano/Lakshmi mounts until 4.25 so you have more than ample time to buy the weapon you actually need.

Even if they did buy the weapon it wouldn't really change the thread much; the point would still be there. They're eventually going to need to do this.

Why? 10 runs for your weapon is a pretty ncie saftey net, I'd say?
I suppose your argument here is "We're having more jobs, so more weapons, so less of a chance that your weapon drops now." - but we also have "run it 10 times to get the weapon you want".

If people rather save for the mount thats understandable (but if you plan on running it 99 times already... why not throw in 10 more?) but it doesnt change that fact that we're basically having a 100% droprate for the weapon you want, if you're willing to do 10 runs. I'm to tired to do the math, but seems like a better chance to me than EX-primal-weapons in ARR without the 5 (or 6, if counting ninja) jobs.

And if you take a look at the HW patches, you'll see that SE has never added the mount from an EX trial until a few patches after it's been introduced. If 4.25 adds the Susano/Lakshmi mounts to the vendor, they likely won't be adding the Shinryu/Byakko mounts to it until 4.35/4.45.

As for ways to reduce the amount of RNG on drops, the totems were exactly their way of a safety net. You'll be able to buy a weapon every 10 runs. This wasn't the case in ARR, where you had to farm a primal until it dropped the right weapon.

Can always be patient and wait for the mount drop rate to increase SE likes to do that with mount drops after awhile. Just buy the weapon you have ample time to save for the mount or have it drop theres no pressure.

Lol. Got the weapon on the 52nd totem. Now I can save for the mount for when ever they add it to be bought lol.

It's a matter of rng. I've seen the dog twice, got it the second time. Grabbed my WAR axe, PLD sword and shield, and earned tokens for SMN and DRK weapons. All in like 30 runs. You're just unlucky. I also saw MNK weapons too.
