I like all areas even Goblet, but I love nature and beaches which is why I relocated my hosue to Lavender and our FC house to mist.

Me and my friend just never liked the aesthetics of the Goblet even when I was just there a while ago it's just as has been said already in the thread plain or bland if you will. We just really like the forest setting the nature plants trees and everything that's in Lavender Beds.
It's the desert. I don't care much for deserts.
When I was going for my current medium house, I found a spot in the goblet at a low price that was near a market board, but instead went for a much higher priced one in Lavender Beds that was further away from a board, simply because it wasn't in the Goblet.
Goblet has the best base interior of all estates IMO.
But besides that the outside is just.. blend. They meed to remodel and change texture imo.
And mayby change the outer brimming heart aswell and less blocky/big walls next to small houses that are considered bad house.
And talking about brimming heart they added new texture and models to it. Mayby use that to remodel goblet?
And mayby tweak on their base exterior houses.
Our FC just moved there, it was our last choice simply because it is too bland. The texture tiles repeat way too much because of the size of the walls. I admit though the middle of it is very nice, the new swimming areas remind me of a hotel pool which is great. The outer edges need a little work i think to make it look more like Ul'Dah, its supposed to be where the money is xD
The layout of the ward is actually really good imo so it does have that going for it. Also its a very good place to snap up a house as people often overlook it. So get your houses there if you want one!
I like Goblet in terms of how it looks (Desert Theme), but I can't stand the endless amount of stairs and tunnels. It makes Goblet annoying to navigate through :3
The aesthetic is nice, but it just feels cramped to me.
That's why when I upgraded last week, I stayed in Lav Beds. Went from a house next to the water to a mansion in the back, with lots of space.
Goblet Plot 13/43 is one of the most underrated plots as a large. The yard faces the windmill waterfall and looks down upon the oasis brimming heart, your views are not interrupted or blocked by piassa/chocobo/carbuncle houses. As an added feature you can fish from the corner of the lot down into the pool of water below. This is my 2nd favourite large lot in the game.
I lived in the goblet in a small plot (57) for about a year. I found the aesthetic quite plain. However the one thing I loved about my old plot was the massive sky box behind my house so during events I had an amazing view of fireworks and the windmill. Since the addition of swimming I think the area near the oasis is my favorite in the district. I just find I enjoy the feel of the other housing areas more which is why I moved to Shirogane. I tried to get into Lavender Beds first but it just worked out I got into Shirogane first.
To me it's the khakis of housings. Just a very bland place that's hard for me to navigate. The middle is nice, but while adjusting the middle they continued to ignore the outside portion that's just bland. All of it should be an oasis in the dessert, not just the center. Get that water moving all over, add more plant life and color. Even the base feature windmill is just dull.
