    Broken Payment System for characters

    If you have selected service option for 180 days and Character 1 it charges you for all 6 months. This is fine, but now for 1 month I want to activate a second character for 1 month but it will only allow me to activate it for 6 months?!

    I should be able to pay for a 2nd character for 1 month at a time not be forced to pay for 6 months.

    Also why are the payment amounts broken.

    $3US is not the same as $3EU in fact $3EU = $4US so we get charged 25% extra for nothing.
    Banks will accept payment in other currencies or at least work it on a fair exchange rate.

    But that would mean SE would have to think, and we all know they don't like to do that, hence the confusing system that's in place.

    Seriously though, they should do this.

    I looked myself if i really would need to pay for 180 days for a extra character on my account and it is true.
    If i want to reactivate, time is set to 180 days.

    The only thing could be, that you have to change the payment information to a lower time -> instead of 180 to 30 days.
    Of course i not tested it, because i'm not a guineapig for Square Enix, who should have made a good and clear FAQ for the payment.

    Because i wanted to make sure, i read a little more about payment.
    If i would change the time from 180 to 30 days, it will change after the 180 days are over, because i already paid.
    But it not say if i changed this, if i pay for a reactivation of my extra character for 180 or 30 days.


    So it would be nice if a Admin (or whoever from SE read this) find out for us and post here,
    -> if we have to pay for the same number of days, we paid to use FF XIV (just the "service" + here the 180 days), or if we change time - from 180 to 30 days, it want only for those 30 days (before the 180 days are over).

    And about the Euro to US Dollar to Yen and what not.
    Many ppl complain about that, but i see it that way.
    You pay in Euro because you can use support in EU.
    US Dollar for US support.
    And Yen for Japan support.

    And it is set to your SE account. Ok, here was the problem (i heard long ago) that if you buy it in german, it maybe not accept a SE account, that is not EU.

    Ok, our english speaking player not see the differnt there because of language, but you need to consider the time aswell.
    Because i can not tell if i would get a german GM (yes, i'm german) or a german FF XIV if i would pay in US Dollar.
    Because to get a german game i suppose Square Enix will use german tester (or for France, france people) to test the game or check the writting.

    I did try change the service time to 30 days.
    And it still want to charge me for the whole service, 180 days.
    I even got the email notice that the service has been changed but it says billing period from JAN-JUL which is still the 180days.
    Why separate the character and monthly "Service Charge" if you cant pay for it separately.
    Please fix this.

    Is this billing issue going to be looked into or is it just going to be this bad forever?
