My Lala is too short, retainer grip

So I am designing the house I share, love you Pelito, and a decent amount of the retainers we have are lalas, cause why not. There's just one problem, none of them can see over any desk items, and very few of the items that are short enough can't act as a desk. Is there a way of fixing this? Not asking for lower desks. But is there a way we can place thrm on the stool specifically design for that purpose?

SE could reclass housing npcs as tabletop items so they can be placed on top of furnishings. Then lala npcs could stand on boxes or whatever to give them enough elevation to stand at counters.

Been after this for so long. I think one of the recent glitches allowed it, but got 'fixed'? I didn't take advantage in time, but it's a little sad that we don't have the ability to just place furniture where we want at this point (or tabletop npcs or a version of the lalafell npcs on stepping stools). The devs themselves prop up lalafell npcs, but never gave us players that option.

I noticed that too when furnishing over the past few days, I wish they could use the lalafellin stool at least.
