    It's called a "timetable". Set up an established timeline for their analysis, announce to customers what that timeline is, and if there's any required deviation from it, then they can announce that with the knowledge that notifying customers of a necessary plan adjustment is still better than leaving them completely in the dark.

    They didn't leave us in the dark. They specifically mentioned the moratorium timing was unknown as they wanted to monitor the market and be sure FC's got their houses to give as many players as possible housing access.

    Two weeks (by the time it moratorium is lifted) is a very reasonble time to wait.

    "Unknown" = "we don't know what we're doing".

    And the moratorium started on the patch, so three weeks.

    Not for those reasons it isn't. The people getting an FC house or relocating were mostly done within the first hour. Reasonably a day should be allowed to accomodate different schedules.

    And this reason they've given in their statement has nothing to do with this. (And the reason they gave is absurd but that's a different story)

    The fact they mentioned anything at all is what caused the FC surge - but thankfully < at least on our server> it wasn't terribly bad.
    The reluctance in giving timing prevents people from staging - it levels the playing field. Blame the bot's and "RMT'ers" (who have yet to be caught).

    Pretty much, but I spun it like;

    Unknown = we don't actually have any data on this so we need to do this to test our system.

    Also, a day IS NOT enough time with the amount of players who stick to weekends. 2 full weeks with the new wards gives ALL FCs of various schedules a chance.

    Yes, most players took the houses tbey wanted in the first day. That's precisely why SE wanted to take time to collect the data. There was a first day rush and then, nothing, but they couldn't feasibly know the rate for FCs as individuals fight as hard for housing.

    If anything, SE now has hard evidence being thrown at them that housing limitation it isn't an FC issue at all, verses the word of salty forum users, and that any furture moratoriums should last a few days at most.

    at least tho with the longer delay. plot prices are a bargain for anyone going for whats left.

    and it also shows there is enough housing for NEED, not GREED.
