Can only connect to server using WTFast, otherwise I get 2002 error. I need a fix

There is no reason why I should have to pay monthly for this game and also a stupid VPN service. How do I fix the root of my problem? I know very little about the problem, I have a 2002 connection error and someone suggested WTFast which fixed it (pingzapper and mudfish don't though, some reason)... but I don't want to have to pay for another program just to play this one!

Find the person @ SE that decided it would be a good idea to move server location. Nothing is going to change until they move away from NTT datacenters.
