The Ties That Bind

I was hoping somebody could help with my eternal bond quest. What happened was my partner and I had everything ready to go; we both had on our wristlets, we both had our blank invitations and our ceremony invitations, we both even had on all of our wedding garb. We were both in a two person party with each other, and we had finalized our ceremony plans, and we arrived to the ceremony on time. This is where the problem began. I was able to accept the quest and continue into the dressing room inside the Ivory Chapel, however my partner was not. He never got the "the hour is upon us" message from the lady outside with the quest bubble. All she kept telling him was the same "you must be" line, leading him to choose a reservation time. This went on for 20 minutes until our friends and myself were kicked from the Ivory Chapel. We were topd to reschedule, but we don't want to if this problem will happen again. Does anyone know what went wrong? We couldn't figure out why it wasn't working.
