    Crafting simulator incorrect?

Just wondering if anyone has notice issues with the crafting simulator, offering results that are different than in game. I've noticed with the 2 star and higher level 70 recipes what the simulator says and what I see in game are different, I've noticed 2 areas the one happening the most is cp usage, I set based on my character in game, the simulator willl say I have enough cp to do a craft, but in game, I run out of cp before the end of the craft and can't do the rotation. Trying to figure out a rotation for the 35 durability I ran into the issue of not finishing progress in game, when the simulator said I could do it.

This CP problem is very obvious. Take this rotation of mine as an example. This is a 1 star macro I made back in the earlier patches. If you use an excel file, a calculator or the simulator to calculate the amount of CP needed, they will all say it needs only 481 CP. But in reality, it actually needs 490 CP to complete this rotation.

    Caimie's 1 Star Macro:

    /ac "Muscle Memory" <wait.3>
    /ac "Comfort Zone" <wait.2>
    /ac "Inner Quiet" <wait.2>
    /ac "Manipulation II" <wait.2>
    /ac "Steady Hand II" <wait.2>
    /ac "Prudent Touch" <wait.3>
    /ac "Prudent Touch" <wait.3>
    /ac "Prudent Touch" <wait.3>
    /ac "Prudent Touch" <wait.3>
    /ac "Prudent Touch" <wait.3>
    /ac "Steady Hand II" <wait.2>
    /ac "Prudent Touch" <wait.3>
    /ac "Comfort Zone" <wait.2>
    /ac "Prudent Touch" <wait.3>
    /echo 1 Star Macro #1 complete <se.3>

    /ac "Prudent Touch" <wait.3>
    /ac "Prudent Touch" <wait.3>
    /ac "Steady Hand" <wait.2>
    /ac "Piece by Piece" <wait.3>
    /ac "Great Strides" <wait.2>
    /ac "Innovation" <wait.2>
    /ac "Ingenuity II" <wait.2>
    /ac "Byregot's Blessing" <wait.3>
    /ac "Careful Synthesis II" <wait.3>
    /ac "Careful Synthesis II" <wait.3>
    /ac "Careful Synthesis II" <wait.3>
    /ac "Careful Synthesis III" <wait.2>
    /echo 1 Star Macro #2 complete <se.5>

This is because there's a point which the CP invested in CZ is not yet fully returned yet. So the actual amount of CP available wasn't enough to perform the final Byregot's Blessing.

490 CP isn't that many anyway, so it's not a problem at all. But it is something which we need to take into consideration when drafting a rotation, and we cannot 100% just rely on simple add-up maths from calculators. We can do it in excel though, so for each step, we calculate how much the CURRENT CP value is, to make sure it's not above the max or below the min.

Hmm, so if comfort zone is still up for that final quality push, we have to factor in not having the additional 7 CP it would have given us? or work on giving it about a 10 cp grace window?

It depends how many steps of Comfort Zone are still left, and it depends how much CP you need for the next skill. Activation of CZ requires 66 CP (cost = +66). Full return is 80 CP (cost = -80). Net gain is 14 CP (cost = -14). When there are two steps of CZ left, you are still missing 2x(-8) returning CP, so net cost = +2... in other words, if you still have 2 steps of CZ left, you have spent 2 CP, with no gain yet. When you have only 1 CZ stack left, your net cost is -6, so you actually gained 6 CP. When you have no CP steps left, you would have gained the full 14 CP (cost = -14).
