This is kind of cruel to say to someone at this point, especially since people should be done relocating by now. Personal home owners have still been able to relocate this whole time. And any RNG timers that would make relocation better than purchasing have worn off (unless someone is just barely relocating, or it's a new demolition).

Not so much being cruel as honest. Players with homes will continue to use Relocation to get bigger homes,better plots and housing district changes. While players without homes will have the relinquish timer hindering their efforts to get a house.

To be fair, though, the Relinquish timer was put in place to curb house flippers buying houses for the purchase price and selling them for quadruple the amount to other players. I consider it more of a necessary evil, though you can make the argument that it should apply to all purchases and relocations. I won’t contest that argument.
