The possible worst thing I've seen since the new wards opened up is that most of the new medium and large houses were taken up by people relocating their homes. There's very FC's that have been able to get a medium or large. If anything, when SE does decide to remove the restrictions for individual housing, unless you're on a mid to low populated server, I wouldn't expect to get anything more than a small plot as that's all that's left atm.

I just looked on my server (Cactuar) at the number of Larges in the new wards that were FC and the number that were Personal (I did not look at Mediums):
—Shirogane: 28 of the Larges went to FCs, 8 are Personal
—The Mist: 28 of the Larges went to FCs, 8 are Personal
—Lavender Beds: 27 of the Larges went to FCs, 9 are Personal
—The Goblet: 23 of the Larges went to FCs, 13 are Personal

Looks to me like, on Cactuar at least, most of the new Larges went to Free Companies, not to people relocating. As for the houses themselves, there are still several smalls and a lot of mediums available; smalls in every district, mediums in the Goblet.

The Goblet is criminally underrated, I'll have to move in there when the time comes.
