Why would you join a lootmaster party?

Lootmaster party my static is running that we all agreed to the rules? Sure.

Lootmaster party of randoms? Hell no.

It's one thing to use it to distribute gear in a fair manner amongst a set group working on content together day after day. It's lunacy to put in the work so the lootmaster and their buddies get the goods.

If your static has agreed to lootmaster terms do you really need it in the first place? Are statics full of dishonorable people?

I would fully support SE abolishing lootmaster totally.

I guess it makes distributing things for alt jobs easier and lowers the chance of everyone accidentally passing it and it dropping to the ground (sometimes you get into those like "Nah i'll pass it, nah i'll pass it, you can have it" situations. If it's just one person keeping track of the loot, who has gotten what and who should be getting the next tome upgrade item etc it is more structured and less messy.

If yours is full of "dishonorable people" I'd question why your in it.

Having lootmaster reduces the number of clicks on each piece of gear, this reduces the number of misclicks possible. Lootmaster really shouldn't be used amongst strangers, its for groups of friends. With it you can easily gear everyone up evenly without dice rolls getting in the way.

That said, if your group doesn't want to use it, don't. It's really that simple. SE doesn't need to abolish it.

I made a mistake in joining one of these garbage I was there for free wasting my time I've learned my lesson never joined these type of party never

I only join these parties if I need 10 or less totems before I cap out at 99, before that, I don't ever step in these.

I'll join one if I see it has 1 slot left to fill to remove it from the PF list and then i'll immediately bail. 99% of the time they're scams so I don't feel bad at all.

I never join one of these parties in hopes of getting the mount.

But yeah, if the mount is all you want, joining one of these is pretty dumb.

On the other hand, if you want other loot, I've actually found that you're more likely to get it in a lootmaster party because a lot of the people that are there ONLY want the mount and will pass everything else, either because they don't care for it or already have it.

I've joined several lootmaster parties in previous ex farms... worked out quite well... however I only will join a "mount in order of joining" party if I'm like the 2nd or 3rd person to join... also id wait til they increase the drop rate or add the totem exchange

I've only been in /one/ of these parties that held together until everyone got their drop and it was for the Shiva EX pony well towards the tail end of HW. Every other time the parties have disbanded once the lootmaster and their lackey got their loot, usually by citing some issue that just came up that they had to attend to. These days if all I see are lootmaster runs I'll just put up a normal, non-lootmaster party myself and take the results come what may. Much less frustrating.
