Before, phleb worked well with HT to separate the combos. Now however, with the fifth hits in each string, I can see why phleb was phased out.
I think only changes I would like are dragon eye stacks not being reset if blood of the dragon ends, and maybe reduce animation lock on jump even more if possible. Dragoon quite good the way it is atm from playability point of view. From a balancing pov maybe change that piercing debuff into something else to break synergy with brd/mch and indirectly nerf them a little, throw a bone to non meta jobs who don't have synergy buddies.
As rough as DRG was at the start of Stormblood I am very happy where it is now. The ability to extend BOTD while AEing combined with the reduction of 4 eyes to 3 made a huge difference. Reducing the horrid animation lock of Mirage Dive was big too.
I am always in favor of more dots, buffs, debuffs, whatever lol. But, honestly the current DRG rotation is in a nice place imo. It flows reasonably well, and still feels like you are playing DRG. Removing Phlebotomize is acceptable due to the overall shift in focus of our rotation. Imo it also didnt remove any complexity either, it was just a dot attached to your Chaos Thrust combo, so you would put it up with out even thinking about it.
