If they add Ishgard housing but without the snow I suspect nobody will really want to live there. I feel like they should just add outdoor furnishings that fit a snow environment whenever they add it.

I would love to have that darker stone castle kind of feel to a house. It's one of the reasons I was so happy to get the Shirogane Castle skin on my FC's house. I love the stone in the wall and on the lower part of the building! I'd be super happy to live in Ishgardian, not frozen wasteland housing. (Though I realize I'm in the minority here, so they really should think about adding a snow housing area. We have 2 beach housing areas now, so why can't we have a snow one for people who like snowy weather?)

Ala Mhigo's architecture is...not very nice. Its mostly bricks.
Won't it be just Goblet 2.0?
It would depend if they added a unique feel to it, like they do with the housing walls and extra add ons. I feel if they added the Griffin aspec along with the beauty of the trees that they do have, it could look very beautiful. For a swimming area, as well, it would be cool to have an “oasis” instead of the water park feel they have in Goblet.
If they didn’t put snow on the ground it will be because they want us to place the snow ourselves (which I don’t mind since I have a large stock of snow lol, my poor retainers) and I agree, if they added it, they would add outdoor furniture that would fit the location.
I would absolutely love living under the sea! I didn’t think about the weather changes, though. That would be something interesting to think about!I just meant Ala Mhigo in general. Didn't notice I snagged the ruby sea part in the quote. There's been a few threads on Ishgard and the Ruby Sea. There was some speculation that housing would be underwater before Shirogane was announced if I remember correctly. Something like that might actually work out rather well with the vibrancy of it, although weather might be limited unless maybe the top were exposed to open air and there was magic holding back walls of water.
