Why would relocating to a larger house be unfair? Would you move in real life and not improve your house. Why relocate to begin with? If you allow relocating, there shouldn’t be limitations.

Relocating to larger spaces is fine for FCs because they naturally grow and need more space. I'm not saying individuals shouldn't relocate, but FCs should get priority due to technicalities of space.
It just seems like a very half-assed way of locking content for individuals for a limited amount of time.

Please enlighten to me as to why fcs need more space as time goes on.
Every fc house, regardless of size, has the same amount of fc rooms and the exact same workshop. The npc cap has risen so now every house size can have every vendor. Crafting stations are only useful up to 50 so many don't even bother with them anymore. Gardening isn't much of an interest to most players.
Really, what do large fcs gain with a larger plot? The only gain I can see is the interior getting less crowded.

I don't think it necessarily has to do with the size of fc or length of time it's been active, but moreso how many members are active decorators. I have a small fc (usually less than 10 people on at any given time) but we aspired for a large because all of us love to decorate, so we all got our little space in the house to do what we want with. When we had a small, that just wasn't possible outside of the individual fc rooms.
For many it's not about the decorating. There are FC's that hold meetings, plan events, raids and gather for crafting inside the house. Space can get tight if you have a higher volume of active members, than the year before. I don't mean "inactive" members that hasn't been logged into the game in the last 90 days, yet they are still on the roster either..I don't think it necessarily has to do with the size of fc or length of time it's been active, but moreso how many members are active decorators. SE should have implemented a limit on each plot size regarding FC's...
Small FC 4+ active members
Medium - 7+ active members
Large- 10+ active members.
More members = More need of space for events. I'm in an RP server, so perhaps it's different, but if you're hosting events for an Fc with a lot of members, a small house won't cut it.Please enlighten to me as to why fcs need more space as time goes on.

Hell, if you host RP events at all a small house isn't enough if your event gets popular. There has been instances where events were so crowded, people could not enter/leave the small house.
This is why bigger FCs need bigger houses.
