And that’s why you manually craft ... I have experienced slight delays in the game accepting input, and I can see how using a macro would have had that macro skip a step (because its on its own time). Crafting manually, however, you merely wait for the game to accept input again and carry on!

This is also why I manually craft and also because I find hitting a button and going AFK to be boring. I love crafting and macroing it is just...not my thing.

I tried the macro thing once in Heavensward, thought it was okay, then hit a lag spike and watched in horror as my turn in was destroyed. That was all it took to make me delete them lol

I had no idea this would get so many views or responses. I can see some people misunderstand what actually happened so I will try to clarify. Yes I macro craft and no I don't go afk when I craft. Since this was a non specialist recipe for me I hit my first macro and it was going right along fine then a few things toward the end of the macro misfired. I tried to recover with other abilities which were all lagging and I was like NO the SERVER is about to poop! I could tell what was coming. For nonspecialist recipes I macro the first bit then manual the second bit. I got to 78% and it NQ'ed then the server kicked a lot of people, me included. This was at 7ish am on Zalera which is a low population server. However I did put it on the mb and made 500k which was fine and made me feel a little better lol!

Also, this was not scheduled maintenance, I am not dumb. This was off peak time game lag random boot. This was a Nightsteel weapon which is a lot of creation mats.
