I played WoW from early Vanilla up to the end of Draenor (10-11y) and i was able to see the degradation of the game. The main reason were people like OP who did nothing else but whine for days and months because they "felt entitled" to something. And i'm not joking one bit.

Speaking as a WoW veteran, I don't see that happening in this game. Aside from top tier content, all content was extremely dumbed down in WoW. This isn't even remotely what's going on in ff or with the housing system. SE don't even have the resources to pander to every player QQing about housing, and if they did that wouldn't affect the rest of the game anyway.

If ff has a downfall like WoW, well the first warning signs haven't reared their ugly heads yet. So I'm not worried.

I really hope you are right because i love FF series (not just FFXIV), but "something" must be the beginning... and i hope this isnt housing. If SE fall under "pressure" (really?) for one thing what you think how long it will take for the same thing to happen with something else.
