its not our end! but the moderators will try and make it look like it is. Its SEs end and they need to sort it asap I cant actually emphasize this enough.Hi there! Me and my FC members have been experiencing the same issue. The issue primarily happens in dungeons/trials/raids but we've had people who randomly disconnect in just the open world. When we log back in we do not see any errors and we are still in the instance but have to start it over. All of the members experiencing disconnects use wired connections. We have tried rebooting our routers/computers and nothing has made the issue any better.
I already know the issue isn't on the players end just from the vast number of people having issuesI was just trying to provide information in hopes of them being able to resolve the issue sooner. We invited friends to come and play this game but the lag and random disconnects are really souring their experience.
MishkaRose,
I would like to suggest maybe doing the re-install. Although everyone's issues appears to be the same ,many different things cause these issues. We always suggest going through all the troubleshooting steps yourself rather assuming it will not help by what other players say. We are here to help, We want to be of assistance.
Thank you for playing Final Fantasy XIV.
ok u realy need to fix this shit i just DCed 7 times in one instance as the healer!

Everytime i reread your problems i get more the impression that your connection is fine and that there is something wrong with your client. Indeed a reinstall might be the best option here.
Its because you have no lag/delay when you get thrown back. All connection issues i've seen lead to a long delay where you dont see any mobs move or your attacks do nothing first. Thats what makes me think that its really a local client issue.
