ya i messed up the image thing https://i.redd.it/n8wq6scx4p5z.jpgThordan turned himself into a primal same for shiva they also didnt really temper anyone Mamools kind of have a Primal in the form of the Astral Candessence and the Qiqrin do have a primal what it is we just dont know yet however that could be because they dont talk about it according to koji fox from the vegas lore panel. Dont forget there is that one “savage” qiqirn with the rainbow coat in the SB areas different colored clothes/armor normally signify which beastbtribes become quest tribes and seeing as how we know that hien has already pretty much finished rebuilding and is ready for ppl to return home that kind of rules out the namazu for crafting

Pretty sure any beastmen are capable of being swindlers and squatters while still giving us odd-jobs to do. Also, why does the fact that they are anthropomorphic catfish preclude them from being a beast tribe?
Perhaps we don't know what theirs is yet?
Because these come from quests some people may have not done yet, I'll put these two in spoiler tags, but it's nothing serious. But it shows two things. One is that they are capable of crafting in some capacity. The other shows they are capable of trade.

That's true. It's almost like they'd need to look physically different to the ones we fight in the wild...
PS: Is that even a thing for the Mamool Ja in Eorzea? Last I saw the Astral Candescence I was fighting against multiple beastmen (sometimes Mamool Ja, but not always) who were trying to steal it from Al Zahbi during a Besieged in FFXI.
They really didn't though? There's a questline that starts in the Enclave that rules that out completely.Yeah they're ready for the refugees in Mor Dhona to come back home, but that's so that they can help rebuilding using the skills they picked up in Mor Dhona. And that's only talking about the Enclave - which is still not finished. There's the rest of the frigging country to rebuild, too
More than enough room for the Namazu to help with that
That said, I'm curious. We're obviously getting a crafting beast tribe this xpac. Who do you think it'll be if not the Namazu?
Of course the Namazu have a primal; it's called the Lalafell race. (I kid)
For reals, though, I've been wondering since SB's reveal if we'd ever get more insight into the Qiqirn, and them being a beast tribe would be an interesting (and potentially welcome) opportunity to tell us all we need to know and then some.

I've got 20 onMoogles 2.0the Namazu.
For something completely different.. I actually wouldn't mind seeing the "crafting beast tribe" quests being in the .....
*SPOILER WARNING*
Doman Enclave
I know it's not beastmen specifically.. However it would be nice from a lore perspective to have some part in that whole thing.
Doubt it will happen but would be interesting.

Deff going to be the little fish dudes

I'm going to throw in with the "it's the Namazu" crowd.
Possibilities right now are them or the wolf people.
The likely thread will be they've heard not only does the WoL fight.. they are an experienced crafter too.
"please make us stuff to sell!"
We've already got a half built area for them to "improve" as the questline goes on.
WHERE IS THIS KETTLE EVERYONE KEEPS INTRODUCING ME TO?
If they set the unlock quest to be post the Yanxia MSQ, they can freely tie it to that.
The Ananta quests aren't exactly Ananta, per-se, but more show their interaction and integration with the rest of Gyr Abania. It'll work just as well for the Namazu.I know it's not beastmen specifically.
