White Partition and wall mounted items?

Just seems weird that the only item able to be hung on them is the wall shelf.
Can't use posters/paintings, wall lamps, windows, ect...

I can hang stuff on other partitions, though. >->;
Is this something that could be maybe fixed in the future?

Also wasn't sure where this topic went since it's about housing and an item, and the 'items' category is flooded with people complaining about the new glamour thing.

Whoops, I can't put anything on any partitions anymore aside from the wall shelf.

Make sure you have toggle surface placement set to on (the top small icon to the right of the storage tool when editing your house).
