    Time limit on rebuying a plot of land?

    Hey guys, I know that a random time limit was placed on housing plots after they are destroyed or moved. But...do we have any idea what the bounds of that random time limit are? Hours? Days?

    Unfortunately there are plots open for FC's to buy(which my girlfriend wants to do) but it's telling her it cannot be bought yet.

    Is she in an FC with a house on an alt? And has she tried the new plots which there are still a lot going right now? Demolished plots sound like they're only for relocation for a random period of time.

    * You may purchase land for a free company if:
    ・Your character is in a free company that does not own land.
    ・None of your other characters on the same World on that service account are in a free company that owns land.
    * These conditions only apply to purchases made after the release of patch 4.2. Any land purchased before patch 4.2 will be unaffected, and no land or estates will be lost as a result of these changes.

    She can leave the FC on that alt, buy the FC house with the main and then rejoin the other FC afterwards.

    She has other character in a FC with a house, yes. But I thought the limit was you could only own one FC house and one personal house? Otherwise you could only join one FC on an account.

    If your girlfriend's characters are both on the same world (Balmung etc) and is trying to buy an FC house for either one she can't if one of them is in an FC with a house.

    No its a bit more...complicated than that.

    Basically if your GF has an alt character on the same world in an FC that owns a house...then you can be master of a FC on the same world, but it will be unable to ever purchase land as long as your alt is in a FC that owns land.

    Your GF would have to leave the FC on her alt, purchase your FC house on her main, then rejoin that FC on her alt AFTER the purchase is complete.

    It doesn't stop you from joining FCs it is just relevant to the purchasing part only. Once you have your FC house purchased on your main then your alt can rejoin the other FC whether they have a house bought or not.

    Ugh its kinda confusing, but I am pretty sure that is how it works.

    It is bonkers, and considering they don't seem to be applying the timer to relocation, the housing reselling market is still booming. People are just charging so they will relocate and have the house immediately available to relocate to.
