Private Moving was bugged for some people (Housing problems)

So it was stated that Moving will still be possible. I was lucky enough to be online as one of the first few people. Stood before 2 big houses and 1 medium with noone else around. But every Time i wanted to move i got the message: "Housing system currently not available" (Translated from German).

Some say it worked for them but for a majority of people it was bugged.

Will just add to this - I have logged in pretty much the second the servers came up. I was at the plot I wanted and no one else was there but it wouldn't let me relocate. It wasn't until a min later when someone else came who was able to buy it right away. I tried it on a different plot as well and it did the same.

Happened to me only person there for a good 6 mins trying to buy then Boom house appears for someone else

When hit relocate took over 5 minutes for it to catch up and show my house on the plot.

it happened to me last housing rush
i think it's more of a lag thing

when someone buys a house relocation the plot stays empty looking for a good 5 minutes before it all teleports in.

could very well have been sold and the buyers wandered off to look at other things

edit: only other thing i can think of is if your furnishings + storage exceeds the new plot's storage maximum you can't relocate but they warned everyone of that a week ago

The plot showed as purchased on the map instantly for me, but everything took about 5 mins to fully move over.

I lost a large house because of this.

I don't feel quite as bad about it after seeing how zealous the FC that ended up snatching it out from under my nose was about decorating it together, though. They had obviously been preparing for it for a long time, so I think they deserved it more then me.

I still have a moai statue glaring at the mansion from within my new medium house's yard as a passive-aggressive expression of my annoyance with the matter, though.

Emergency maintenance. So i lost a big House due to a Bug. Great.
