Doesn't change the fact it is inherently unfair to allow individuals to transfer before allowing first time home buyers the same equal chance.

Not really. The point was to give FC a shot at getting a house. Players relocating does not decrease the overall number of houses available since their prior house becomes vacant. Allowing new individuals to grab houses would decrease the total number of houses available to FC.

Not giving a time when individual housing openning up isn't fair.
I IR hubby and I had a house I broke both my legs and we lost it to auto demolition. Last patch was a job.
This was is just as stupid. our FC moved great. but now I stuck waiting unknown amount of time hoping to get one of the ones left over.
I really hope SE plans to solve by adding more housing wards every even patch. Till everyone can have a house they want.

from what i'm seeing so far, outside of shirogane there will be a ton of small plots for new purchasers when it opens.
Probably a lot in shirogane too tbh

the ward i moved to in goblet is still at 5/60 sold 90 minutes in.

We can only hope that everything works out. If there is still small plots available for individuals then we can count that as a small win for the community at the very least.

Yep, it was a simple solution. Demo all of the old houses and give them to the FCs, once the new wards open up place restrictions on everything. 1st hour FC purchases only, 2nd hour individual transfers open up, 3rd hour everyone has a fair shot at what they want.

Relocating a house, personal or FC, doesn’t remove an available plot. It means another opened up elsewhere. Unless you meant locking FCs out of M/L lots, then sure. A previously homeless FC would be grateful to even have a S though.

i don't think you understand this at all.
The personal moves just free up space elsewhere. On behemoth ward 1 of the 3 original zones have open houses now. The demo time is only like an hour

even a small house makes a fully functioning guild house btw

Upgrading a personal house doesn't lock an FC out of getting a house at all. If someone relocates, a free plot is left behind, there is still the same amount of free plots as before the relocation.
