Hey all. I'm learning to summon and I'm at a road block. I'm struggling with my aoe rotation and need advice. I heard to use tri bind in dreadwyrm trance but I'm not sure what to do when not in it and when my atherflow is down
Hey all. I'm learning to summon and I'm at a road block. I'm struggling with my aoe rotation and need advice. I heard to use tri bind in dreadwyrm trance but I'm not sure what to do when not in it and when my atherflow is down
you'll want to dot/bane/painflare to aoe and tri-bind in dreadwyrm yes. if aetherflow is on cd and you've used up all your stacks just single target until it comes back up. not much else you can do since they took away blizzard II.
With DWT you def spam Tri-Bind. Do not drop it early for Aetherflow like you do in the single target opener. It's less damage in the long run. When you're out of DWT Tri-Bind on 5+ targets. Use Ruin IV procs on 5 targets or less, Ruin III on 4 or less. Use Ruin II to fit in oGCDs as needed. If you get a Ruin IV proc and you're close to using an oGCD (within 5s), hold it for that rather than using it immediately.
Other than that it's dependant on what how many targets there are. I like to use Garuda so I pop Tri-Disaster after Contagion then Bane on 4+ targets, which offsets the dps loss from Bane a bit. Otherwise weave in Painflare/Tri-Disaster while dotting up enemies. Without Contagion I think it's better to Bane on 5+ targets, though I haven't verified that. With 3 or less Hardcasting DoTs is worth the time spent.
