Midgardsormr: Bots making Free Companies to buy plots

I find it really frustrating that there is no way to report these bots fast and easy through player search.

How I know these are bots? Cause they got names like glskjldfjs sldkjfggwugh (just random letters)

I'm really looking forward to buy my FC a middle or large plot, but with these bots running around and making Free Companies makes me worry that they will get lots of plots, and sell them for real money.

PS. I really find it frustrating that I got banned for posting screenshots of the bots (without blurring the pictures). Hope this doesn't get me banned. If so it would tell me that you guys running as admin/mods on the forums are not doing your job. Just a heads up.

They can't just resell it because of the random timer after giving up your plot.
It's a phenomen observed for a long time, RMT farming bots are forming FCs, put the farmed gil in the FC chest where it can savely transvered to someone in the FC which is the middleman between RMT farming bots and the RMT deliver boys o r a delivery boy himself.
They usually don't buy a plot or try it, because they just want as fast as possible much gil and investing gil in a gambling with high loss chances if anything is counterproductive.

Well that's a relief. But there should be an option to report them through player search, just right click their name, and report.
And there should be options for the reports:
* Bot
* RMT
Or other options as well.
That way we could bring down more of the RMT in Final Fantasy 14.

That would also open the door for harassment if you can do it to any player.

Well, if someone report people who are not bots/rmt over time just for fun, they could remove that option for those people who abuse that system.
Harass me here and harass me there. Facebook has an option for reporting fake profiles. Anyone can report anyone. But still it's not that much abused.

If facebook can do it, I guess Square Enix can do it.

They just sell the FC. FC comes with the housing. Legit players have also done this in the past.

You can make any kind of arrangement for gil. Pay people to get you a clear. Pay people to powerlevel you. In this case, pay a guy to invite you to an FC with a house, transfer leadership of the FC to you, then leave the FC. You can even then pay a guy to join the FC and decorate the house for you.

Have the bots even been doing this? You'd have seen most if not all of the plots taken by bots if so because they could just teleport to all the plots and snag them instantly. I think those kinds of bots are more concerned with behind the scenes collecting for mb sales and such.
