The casual raid scene is pretty good here too, and there are usually enough peeps in the FC to organize a raid when need be.

thank you, you made it sound pretty appealing so I did some more research and this server seems pretty dang good, you said the raid scene was good? i assume there is a pretty good amount of people clearing things and a healthy party finder going on? The people that i'm getting into the game don't want to raid hardcore (they got enough of that in wow) but are still interested in clearing thing at a reasonable pace.

I'm currently not part of it but most of the raiders that I know are fairly laid back. There are two FC's that are majorly raid focused but you can find some of the newer FC's that are more casual to mid core. If you do chose to come here I'd ask those in Mog, Kupo, MVP about what FC's would best suit your friend's raiding wants.
