Sorry for adding to an existing question, but just in case his reasoning isn't seen as 'good enough', I feel it's very important to add that it is a very important feature for players who are affected by real life disasters or hardship.

(My personal explanation as to why this is so important, and why pausing demolition following large-scale disasters is not sufficient -- tl;dr version below.) I had a friend horribly affected by Hurricane Maria in Puerto Rico, and he only just a couple days ago was able to log into the game for the first time in nearly five months. (He lost his home and pretty much everything he owned, but he was fortunate in that his PS4 somehow survived, and his friends purchased a PS4 copy of the game for him once things settled down.) I very much appreciate that the demolition timer was paused for this tragedy, but he could have been affected by it for far longer than the pause allowed. Fortunately he could send a friend his account info so she could log in and keep his house safe, but not all players are comfortable with sharing their account information (or possibly even able to contact friends). And the demolition timer is only implemented for widespread disaster, obviously, not small-scale instances like a house fire, long-term hospitalization, or financial crisis. Please, consider that these players are already going through tough times, and although it is only a virtual house, it might mean a lot to them. For someone who has lost everything, it is one less thing to lose. They have enough to deal with; they shouldn't have to also worry about their home in Eorzea!

tl;dr: Please consider allowing friends (or players sharing an estate) to keep it safe from demolition, in the event that the owner is unable to log into the game for reasons beyond their control.

First off ('cause I am so sick of the people who can't math), they added 6 wards, not 5. While that might not seem like a big difference, say that to all who currently reside in Ward 18 (and to all the future residents there as well). Secondly, don't ask the same thing over and over. If you want more wards, go through this whole thread and like all the comments asking for more wards, and direct others towards those comments as well. Don't just ask the same thing again in a different manner.

And that goes for everyone else too. I know 22 pages is a lot to read through, but please, go through all the comments before posting your question/ request. Many things have been suggested. What gets asked is based on likes, not how many times it was asked in the thread. Use "Like!" to vote for things you want to have asked. If you don't see it in here, then ask it.
