Mute Player/ Blacklist = Mute option.

Hi there,

I'm sure lots of people have seen it happen..
Some performer is trying to play a song, or is entertaining a whole crowd of people in town... when suddenly some random players starts spamming notes.

In some cases, as in my servers case, there are players doing this intentionaly, every single day just with the purpose of annoying people, wich I consider harassment.

Since we cannot easily report this, or call people out because of the 'naming and shaming' policy on the forums, this might be a better option.

Could it be considered a future feature in the game that playes that we blacklist also get MUTED? or there be a mute player option implemented?

This community is rather awesome, especcialy compared to other games.
Pls consider this an option, in order to stop people from poisoning it for others.

That's be a great feature. Also would be nice if blacklisted ppl didn't have access to your housing (even if it's set to public), and would have significantly decreased chances to get matched with you in DF (to the point of never getting matched perhaps?). If someone ends on my blacklist it's for a good reason usually and matching us together would serve no good purpose no matter what. I only blacklist ppl that I can't, don't want and won't play with, so getting matched with them.... kinda defeats the purpose of whole blacklist feature. Also blacklisting ppl in alliance raid that are not in your alliance would be welcome.

This was a huge problem back when GW 2 released instruments as toys. I believe they implemented what you are asking for shortly later after there were complaints. Basically in GW 2 anyone you ignore usually gets put in a different shard/phase than you depending on the server load. Meanwhile Blizzard just up and muted everyone making everyone suffer for the actions of a few.

You'd be surprised how often this happened in WoW and GW 2. It was something I was worried about when they announced bards being able to play musical notes in FF XIV. It never fails because there will always be that ONE person who will try to ruin it for everyone. Though through my experience it seems the FF XIV players are a bit more mature compared to GW 2 and WoW. Especially WoW.
