    if they made stats affect rate then the rates you have now would probably still be the best outcome. All they would do is nerf the rate really bad and make you fully gear up to achieve what you can achieve now with no gear. I dont think theyll ever increase the % or make it easier in any way.


    not to mention its the goblin tool that bonds the materia not your trade tools so they wouldn't have an impact anyway.
