Hairstyles

I feel like FFXIV has become sort of focused on shorter hairstyles.
I get that a lot of the longer ones would clip with armour, and would take a lot of devs to make work right...but I feel like it's a big want for a lot of the player base.

I know they exsist, look at Lady Iceheart. She's got some great long locks! Or even Lyse's hairstyle. Make those available on the mogstation, I bet players will happily scoop them up.
I'm not asking down to your knees, I'm simply asking for something with some length.

Yes the new hairstyle added in 4.2 is longer, but you can't really tell. Plus that's 1 out of the last 10 hairstyles that's longer than the shoulder.

Even some new ponytails would be nice!

I agree that we have too much short hairstyles, we need longer ones as they compliment the beauty of a woman (as long as they don't reach the floor cuss thats taking it too far)

I wouldn't mind more different longer hairstyles. The main problem I have with all the short hairstyles is that they seem like just variations of the same basic thing. Spiked bangs here, spiked bangs there, etc. Very minor differences. If we had more variety added in the shorter hairstyles, it wouldn't be so hard to find a good one. The longer ones do seem to give more variety -straight, curly, ponytail, pigtails, braids, over the shoulders etc... but seems like we get so few of them compared to the shorter. I wouldn't mind a chin-length hairstyle with a little bit of body in the back and bangs that did something other than mimic Lightning or Cloud.
