Ok i was wrong about the 60 points. Today I did 3 hours of mining and kabling, there is fatigue again. I checked the achievements and i went up about 600 hits. So ok, that's about 75 nodes, but still...
Maybe it's my luck, but I'm damaging about 1/3 items now already from the first fatigue..

That isn't really fair, and especially with the insane achievement for gathering. This fatigue drives me crazy
Honestly gathering post Lv46 is just too little exp/gather/node. If they were to add grade 6 before level cap increase we wouldn't run in to this problem.

If they remove the fatigue, expect to see 100 stacks of cobalt ore for sale at all times. That's good for crafters, not so much for gatherers.

EDIT: In case you're wondering, I hit the new fatigue while on Botanist on Jack Daniels, I am not talking out of my ass, I have spent a lot of time dwelling on the lack of grade 6.

You aren't wrong, but I'd argue by the time you hit 46, there's no need to be any higher level. You can get the items without problem, and there's no real rush to actually hit 50. I say enjoy the profit you make as you (more) slowly level up.

(I'd like to add that EXP is significantly higher at these levels that it was back in the day... grumble, grumble, get off my lawn!)

    I just mined a bit more. Now I completed about 850 hits, and I'm @ a ~100% damage rate.
Guess I'll go to botanist for today O.o

I'll tell you what.. fatigue is not removed in crafting. There is still a form of it left. If I sit down and start synthing something, anything, even on any one of my level 50 DoH classes and do the same synth 50 to 100 times, the synth starts becoming harder and harder to complete until finally it will break every time regardless of what I do. I'm a legit player and when I start loosing 30k to 50k woth of materials per synth because of what ever stupid ass reason SE has for doing this to us... it's BS. And I'm paying for this?

I also agree with the OP as far as DoL classes as well. Just about fed up

    .. next

Just giving this whole thing a bit more thought. Hmm we have market and economy problems so the soloution is to put fatigue in place? Why not stop trying to re-invent the wheel (as usual in ffxiv) and do what works. Remove DoL & DoH from the the class systems. Stop allowing them to level up for free. I really hate to say it but have a look back as hind sight is 20/20 (FFXI) Hello? It worked and worked well. (imo).

    Oh well w/e.

if your worried about fatigue you could always gather somewhere that takes longer like halitali. you'll mine less nodes most likly but he mats are worth more if your selling them.
