    [DEV ????] Fatigue, sigh..

Imo, gathering fatigue should be removed. Why can crafters craft all day without fatigue, while miners/botanists/fishers gets fatigued after 60 nodes.

That isn't really fair, and especially with the insane achievement for gathering. This fatigue drives me crazy

i would be surprissed if you are getting fatigue after 60 nodes, they increased the time before you hit the fatigue cap now, I can gain several levels and not hit that level now.

The fatigue point is at least at 200 nodes, if not higher.

Scratch that, I'm thinking gathers, not nodes. I don't know what the fatigue point is anymore. I haven't noticed it.

Patch notes for 1.18 says it short and sweet:

[dev1120] The fatigue system and surplus points have been abolished.
Any surplus points accumulated before the patch will be lost.
Also, in the 1.19 patch notes:

[dev1162] The condition whereby gathering for extended periods of time reduces the rate of item yield has been alleviated.

not removed, just lesseneed a whole lot

and after testing myself and having hit the wall several times recently, the wall is actualy NOT 60 nodes, try more like 90-100 nodes almost(closer to the 700-800 gather range)

this in itself takes a good 4-8 hours to do depending on what your doing

after that much time, maybe you SHOULD be taking a break from it to go do something else(or i dont know, switch from mining, to botony, to fishing and exaust the others too?)

the fatigue as it is now isnt nearly as bad as it used to be, and so few people see it that it really shouldnt be an issue

    alleviated does not mean removed

it means it has been eased up on(lessened) which it was done, by 4 times what it used to be(you used to be done after 200 swings now you can get to 800 and only then start to feel it)

I didn't try that before yet, but I asked very heavy gatherers in my ls. They say the fatigue stays on botanist/fisher too. I can't confirm this tho, because most of the times i switch to crafter after mining fatigue, because i want the golden hatchet ^^

I doubt it's cross class. I fish for a couple of hours everyday and almost every day I hop on miner or botany and spend a 1-3 hours doing that too. Rarely do I hit a wall. I don't mind the wall but I would like to see is a better focus on stats helping you 'target' the item you're aiming for (Ex: black sole, cobalt ore, mahogany logs, etc) so you're not just gathering forever only getting what you're aiming for 40% of the time. I like truth of mountains but abilities are so random it's nothing to count on, especially when it activates on your last gathering attempt.

Fatigue is still there for gatherers.

After around 50/60 nods ( at 8 tries per nods) I ALWAYS start to damage stuff as miner or botanist. Fisher on the other hand get fatigue after like 800 fishes ( equivalent to 100 nodes).
So we can gather more than before but I have to agree with finalfreak, this needs to be removed entirely. Yes after 2h of gathering ( usually the time I need to hit fatigue, more or less) I'm kinda glad to go do something else, but give me the choice to go when I want, not when the game tells me " ok you cannot gather anymore go do something else".
