Suggestions on how to improve the Glamour Dresser

After hearing all the complaints about the Glamour Dresser from people who had logged in first thing when the patch hit, I was a bit hesitate to try it but I have to say, I'm somewhat pleasantly surprised that it was alright.

Having said that, while it's alright, I definitely think there is room for improvement:

- The Item limit needs to be boosted. I only put Healer Items with no Job Restrictions and items that all jobs can wear (mostly level 1 glamour gear) and I still have a retainer with 90+ items (mostly non-healer stuff and Job-restricted gear).

- Naturally, increase Glamour Plates too. I think 15-20 plates might be a good max amount of plates.

- Put a Calamity Salvager in the Residential Areas. Yoshi-P wondered why people didn't utilize the Calamity Salvager more and I think one of the reasons is that they aren't readily accessible. Having one in each Residential Area could help (or maybe a house vendor, especially considering you guys just upped the amount of vendors we're allowed to have). Also, maybe a Vendor that sells the starter race gear and hempen set too.

- Fix the Dye Preview. When you try to preview a dye colors on a Glamour Plate item, it shows the outfit you are currently wearing, not the Glamour Plate's outfit. If you want to try to preview it with the outfit, you have to go back to the Glamour Dresser, try on the items and dye it that way, only to back to the Glamour Plate to dye it. It would be nice if this was streamlined.

- Going onward, let Mogstation items be in the Armoire. I know that you can't change the items we currently have now because people (myself included) have already put those items in the dresser but going on, it would be very nice if you just automatically put these items in the Armoire. (Also, make sure that IRL event/campaign items can be put in the Armoire as soon as they are accessible in game, please.)

- Assigning Glamour Plates to Gear Sets is good, keep developing that. Yoshi-P already said they were already looking into this, so keep at it.

- Please put the Glamour Dresser furniture item in the game as quick as possible. it's kind of annoying to have to go to the nearest town to make Glamour Plates.

- Let use be able to apply Glamour Plates outside of cities. At least when we're on our own server's open world.

- Put an Inn inside the Gold Saucer. That way, we have access to our retainers, armoire, and dresser for the Fashion Report.

- When doing the search inventory feature on the Marketboard, make it so items in the Dresser show up too.

- Allow us the ability to use items in our inventory for Glamour plates. Maybe even items from our retainers.

- Allow us the ability to use dye from our retainers. That's usually where I store up all my dyes anyway, so this would help streamline it for me. :B

- Make it so we can sort dresser items by level, role, job, gender, race, and alphabetical order.

- Let use be able to make Glamour plates away from the Glamour Dresser.

- Give us a way to clear an entire plate. This will be helpful when making a new outfit.

- Give use the ability to copy/paste and move Glamour Plates around.

- Let us Link items from our Dressers in chat.

Dye preview is a good suggestion. I'm not sure if that's something that's going to give them trouble, but definitely something hopefully they've considered.

One suggestion I have is to allow us to use the Relic/Anima weapons we've obtained thus far as armoire glamours.
I don't mean that the relic weapons have to be stored in the armoire (it'd be great if we can though), just that they should be available as free glamours.

Just checking here, you're aware of the availability of replicas of all of the previous completed steps right?

Or is what you're requesting here just something that gets added to the system for free?
I'm pretty sure most steps cannot be stored in the armoire since they have custom stats and that system strips all custom info off.

Don't let it destroy gear. If we need room and they can't raise the limit, then at least allow us to remove the stuff we put in to place in other storage.

I might use the plates if I could make them anywhere and put items from the inventory/armory chest in it. 'Might' because I only have few staple outfits, most are mix&match. I am currently using a plate with the only constant in them all: Rings hidden via emperor's new ring glam.

For the dresser to be functional for me, it would need to be accessible anywhere and items from it would have to be preview- and glam-able without plates (the manual way) and the limit would have to be raised on top.

... Truth be told, I don't think I'll ever use the system extensively.

When using the regular old Cast Glamour function on a regular piece of equipment, allow selecting appearance from whatever’s inside the Glamour Dresser and Armoire, on top of what’s in your inventory
