I was just sayin i'd only ever seen it used to refer to gay people, not that it was intended as offensive, if it came off that way lol. Hence the question first and not "HOW DARE YOU" I even googled it since I wasn't sure if I remembered right lol.

A twink is an alt character that you send gear and other things to that you farm or get on your main character to make progression on your alt easier.
Ya, is nothing offensive about it, the term "twinking" is decades old in the world of MMO's and is still used to this day.I doubt OP meant to be offensive when they used that particular term to describe alts. I believe it's a fairly common term used in WoW and (possibly) other MMOs.
Taken directly from the wikia page:
"Twink (WoW) - A low-level character made more powerful by higher-level characters, usually through gifts of armor and weapons that the character would not normally have at such low level. Also used as a verb to describe the act of giving low-level characters powerful items uncommon at their level. "

A twink is your alt character that you outfit in much higher gear than they could normally attain. That was the common usage in EQ. Otherwise if you let the char progress on their own, it's just an alt.

You need four people from separate accounts. No alts. Before it didn't matter but I think now they are making sure no one circumvents the new rules.

Do you have a quote from SE for this? Because on the housing website it says nothing about needing separate accounts or that alts don't count. It simply says 4 or more members.

I was just told that. Hey I don't mind being wrong! It would make sense though that you'd need unique players. Otherwise what's stopping someone from making an FC full of alts then buying a house. Considering FC have priority right now.
You only need 4 people. 2 of my FCs are just level 1 alts, the third (my primary) is made of a level 70 and two 20-30s. All my own characters.

You can create an FC with 4 characters that are all on the same account (using another person/another account to get them all in the same FC), so by the same logic you can likely buy a house with the same FC and the same 4 characters.
If there were restrictions on needing them to be 4 separate accounts SE would have said something about it (in either live letter, 4.2 patch notes or the new housing website). They haven't so logically there is no such restriction.
Meow, just need four characters in the company, any level still works, account doesn't matter, rank 6 or more is the only main requirement, though you wont be able to buy a plot if you have another Character on the same world that is in an FC with a house already.
One other thing that i am not completely sure on is, you shouldn't be able to join an FC (buying fc with house etc) and be elected master, if you have any other characters that are in an FC with a house.
