Ditch the plates. Keep the dresser.

I am not sure why this is so difficult to get right..

For each "Gear Set" just add a tab - "Glamour Set" or something..
Opens up a window that allows you to equip items from your Dresser on to each slot of gear. You can then just save your "gear set" as normal and the cosmetic items you equipped will be saved to the gear set as well.

There are so many funky & clunky systems that get designed, when the best solution is an extremely simple one..
Also, why the heck can we only use plates in major cities?

Also #2, items that are purchased from the mog station should be stored in the Armoire. We should not lose the item when we put them into the dresser. If they were able to be put in the Armoire, we wouldn't be able to lose them.. Either that or let us "retrieve" items from the dresser once placed in.

That basically is what the plates are, except they're set up independently instead of through the gear set menu. Apparently they will be linkable in the future and then it should work exactly like that.

Inconveniences are there to reduce server stress. That's the reason for glam plates only being usable in certain areas atm, and dresser only bring in inn. For changing gearset and glam set at the same time can use /gearset change # #. Where the first number is the gearset you want and second is the glam plate, example /gearset change 4 3

My conclusions exactly. Release limited system to make sure it doesn't break everything, remove restrictions as they determine the actual stress load generated.

The dresser glamour system is an early access beta feature as it is now. They are just dipping the toe in the water with this. How fast they will improve it and update it I don't know. For now I don't use it. Not until they sort out all the silly restrictions. What other old MMORPGs had for years we struggle to get.

My hopes for this new glam system is more gear slots in the dresser, being able to swap plates anywhere, and be able to tied a certain plate to a specific. Job. I’m getting sick of having to change plates each time I swap jobs.

I hope you guys are right, that this is just a trial and error phase so that they can eventually make it better, because as it is right now it is too much hassle for something as simple as glamour.

I couldn't agree more about cash shop items ALWAYS should be able to be put in the armoire. Actual money was paid for those items, and shouldn't even require any thought. That's not even a glamour dresser issue. It's an issue all on its own.

Right now I have no interest in the glamour dresser and sticking with the old glamour system until improvements are made. I totally get that this is the initial implementation of improving our QoL, and it will get better with time. When it does, I'll be all over it.

Honestly, I'm feeling the opposite, actually. At least we can check our plates outside of the inn. Unless I haven't found a way yet, there doesn't seem to be an option to search or check the contents of the dresser, outside of the inn.

I've said this elsewhere, but it would be a huge improvement if we had the option to edit the plates with gear in our inventory, in addition to editing a plate from the contents of the dresser.

Another improvement would be the option to take a "snapshot" of your current glamoured outfit, and save it directly to plate, instead of having to store the item in the dresser and set each slot individually.

I'd also like the option to apply selection portions of a plate, instead of the entire thing.

Oh, and a search-by-set and sort-by-set feature would also be extra helpful for organizing the collection.

Some sort of "set checklist" would be fun. They could reuse the Fashion Report window for that. I know how they like to reuse existing assets.

By the way, what's with the mannequin in the center of the Fashion Report window? It doesn't seem to do anything, besides take up screen space.
