Please remove the beast tribe quest limit

I'm wondering how many of these replies understand what the OP is asking for. They're asking for the total daily limit, currently set to 12, to be increased/removed.

For example, a newer player wanting to max out all the ARR, HW, and SB beast tribes, would be limited to the Ananta, the Kojin, and two HW tribes on a single day. Further reduced to just two of those, on a rank up day (since the bonus rank up dailies count towards the daily limit).

I'd also like to point out that an increase to the daily limit has happened before, going from 6 to 12.

i don't see the problem here. you just do what you can one day and wait for the next day. if you had no limit on beast tribe allowances people would just spam them non-stop. at 60+ the Kojin and Ananta give considerable amounts of exp.

You don't see the problem, because you completely misunderstood my post. They wouldn't be "non-stop spamming" Kojin or Ananta dailies, because each of those would still only have 3 available per day.

There's two daily limits in the current beast tribe daily system. A limit of the amount of dailies for a single beast tribe (for example, 3 Ananta dailies), and a total limit encompassing all beast tribes, as shown by the marked area on this screenshot:



Once that limit reaches zero, the player is no longer able to pick up any other daily beast tribe quests, no matter which one they go to.

OP is simply asking for that limit to be increased, or removed.

Meh. I'm a newish player and I just do my Tribal Dailies while waiting for DF Queues to pop. I've maxed out all but the Moogles and Ananta in a, relatively speaking, short period of time. I don't see any reason why a change is needed. The Tribes serve their purpose, they keep people from being bored while waiting for queues to pop and provide interesting, though un-necessary rewards.

The only change I think they could do, is making it so you can do 3 per tribe a day. With a current 10 tribes, that would be the only change that they really could do. And only let you get more(making it so you can do 6 a day from one) when you rank up with them. So maximum of 60 tribe quests a day, but at a maximum of 6 from any given tribe. While that isn't what the OP is asking for, that is likely the only type of change(with a 0.0000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000001% chance of happening) I could see them doing.

I am of the opposite opinion. The 12 daily limit is fine, but the 3 quest limit per tribe need to be increased.

With the ARR tribes you had 5 tribes to choose between, and once you were past the first reputation step you could pick up more than 3 quests from each of them - so you weren't limited to just 3 quests per tribe and day. The 12 daily limit was what mattered.

Assume you finished all the ARR tribes while doing ARR and then move on to HW.
A total of 3 beast tribes in HW, and you can only get 3 quests per day from each of them. You can only do 9 quests per day for them, making the limit of 12 per day a theoretical limit you normally don't reach.

Come SB things are even worse. Only 2 tribes to do quests for, and max of 3 quests per day from each. The daily limit of 12 per day is meaningless since you can only get 6 quests per day anyway.

For example; the Amalj'aa quests give 10/14/20 rep, from the rank 1/2/3 dailies respectively. Since each rank has 3 dailies, a full set of 9 will net you 132 reputation.

That's because beast tribes get added over the course of an expansion. We'll likely get the third one in 4.3.

I was merely pointing out that the ability to pick up more dailies for a single tribe didn't make it that much faster than HW/SB beast tribes, due to the fact that the ARR dailies rewarded less reputation.

Going by the state that the beast tribes were in during their initial release, with the ARR ones being released two at a time and having a daily limit of 6, and the HW/SB ones having a daily limit of 12:

Ranking up two ARR beast tribes simultaneously took 23 days (doing the 3 highest rank dailies for each tribe). With the current limit of 12, this will only take 16 days.
Ranking up a HW beast tribe to rank 7 took 23 days (rank 8 was just a filler rank at the initial release).
Ranking up a SB beast tribe to rank 8 takes 27 days.

The reason why the SB ones take 4 days longer, is because rank 8 is more than a filler rank for SB tribes, and rank 7 doesn't give any bonus dailies (would move it down to 26 days if it did).

But the point remains that the total daily limit should be increased by at least 6, similar to how the limit was increased from 6 to 12 with 3.0.
