Thread: For v2.0, is anyone keeping track?

I couldn't think of a simplier or clearer way to put the title, apologize for that.

But what I'm wondering is - is anyone keeping track of all the things they say they intend to implement or cant do until 2.0, either because of system limitations or higher priorities, things of that nature?

I've seen dozens of different suggestions and comment threads made where reps respond, say they've given it to the devs (or atleast put it in their massively swelling inbox I'm sure) and more often than not, they reply with 'wait until 2.0!'

Ok..fine. But is anyone keeping track of all the different things they're supposedly holding off on?

There's nothing in particular I have to have that cant wait until that time, so this isnt about that. This is just idle curiousity because I dislike run arounds.

I think this is a great idea for holding them accountable for the promises that have been made.

i find it hilarious people see all this "we are going to do that....in 2.0!" crap and still think its worth almost the full monthly fee to pay for a beta.

There is no point, they can promise this and that, but people have to understand, things change. Later down the road they might see something as redundant or just not needed and take it out. As long as they improve the whole game, and add the key things they said they would, there is no need to keep a list.

<<this, all the promises in the world won't stop a game from failing twice for one thing. good ideas or not, or ideas that would turn the heads of many or not. not many mmo's have lived passed a year and though i think ffxiv is different just cause it's a ff title mmo. all the promises in the world don't mean that 6months to a year after 2.0 this game dies out like the rest and all content comes to a freezing slow halt. witch makes all promises null and void. less you think at 2.0 launch they will have everything. ...i doubt it.
