As the title suggests, let's compile our findings for the Fashion Report here!

Personal findings:

Head: Songbird Hat

Body: Hannish Wool top

I got 4 stars for the Bridesmaid shoes, and he was only ok with the Spring skirt.

he did NOT like the Eikon Cloth Culottes of Healing, the wedding ring, or my Menphina Ring...

Bridesmaid sandals can net you a gold, Spring Skirt too, just need to dye them. Rings need to be any of the Ishgardian rings, the hint was a reference to Haurchefant.

not so good this fashion contest... class locked item, event item, mogstation dye, expensive item like the falconeer shirt, and how they find that the falconeer shirt can be simpler that the hempen camise ?
bad translation in french... High Society translated to "Fleur de la societe" (litteraly flower of society) and the reference to Haurchefant is a bit fetched, and come on the eternity ring gives only 1 star ????

I agree. I'll also throw in how for guys, it's harder to nail the boots. I have yet to find a single item that'll give my guy a gold on the boots while for ladies there're several options, even if they require dyes.

And I got the reference for the ring immediately, though just I finished Heavensward two days ago so it's been very much in my mind. I'm surprised and a bit disappointed that they would do that for a minigame you access so much earlier than either the dungeons that drop the rings OR the story content to interpret the hint. New players won't even have met him at the point when they unlock this.

That's actually a good point. They'll likely spoil themselves just looking it up, then see they're locked out of the relevant content. Throw in how most of the glamours that net you the top scores are expensive craftables and new players are kind of locked out of this attraction outright.

I was really surprised to see this. Since you get to the Gold Saucer at such a low level, I was certain that a level 15 would be able to do, and therefore potentially score a perfect on, the fashion report, but as it stands that's just a pipe dream. Also, unsurprisingly, people are already price gouging all the ideal slot items, because of course they are. Don't get me wrong, I can afford this junk with ease, even the gougy versions, but I'm not dropping 6 or 7 figures to get 60k MGP, and my disappointment in just about all of this is definitely intense. I expected better than this, and I imagine there are more than a few sad new players as well. Maybe future weeks will be better, but if not, then the faults here are pretty glaring.

Songbird Hat dyed Snow White (Got Gold)
Falconer's Shirt dyed Snow White (Got Gold)
Asuran Hakama of Healing dyed Soot Black (Got Gold)
Bridesmaid's Sandals dyed Metallic Gold (Got Gold)
And I didn't bother with the ring (Got Bronze)

My gold rated items (High Society challenge):

Halonic Friar's Ring (unsync farm this)
Bridesmaid's Sandals (Honey Yellow dye)
Yasha Hakama of Healing (buy with Centurio seals, no dye)
Songbird Hat (Snow White dye)

Had a 2 star shirt and some armoire items in other slots and it was enough to get above 80 points.

The fact that there is only a 4 try limit is a bit silly. I'd enjoy the mini game so much more if I could experiment with various combinations, and not have to worry about the weekly limit. The discovered "gold stamp" outfit is just so awful. I really don't want to believe that that combination is the only option to get a 80+ rating.

Also, there needs to be a dresser or dressing room near the NPC, if we're going to be stuck with the current glamour-dresser-server limitations for the foreseeable future.
