Can we put Mog Station Items in the Armoire in the future?

As many have been, I have been playing around with with the glamour dresser and glamour plates and while I like the system in general, I've noticed a few things here and there that could use improvement.....however there are plenty of threads on that so I wont labor y'all with all my feels on that matter. There was one thing that I really hopes gets addressed sooner, rather than later and that is using Mog Station Items with this system.

I personally realized that a lot of my glamour sets I wanted to use involved purchased Mog Station Items and since the glamour plates only use the items stored in the Dresser and Armoire there was really no safe way to try and use them in the new system without destroying items that we paid actual money for. And no one wants to go around deleting their real money purchases so having Mog Station Items being usable with the Armoire would help not only make them more usable with the dresser system but opens up inventory space as well.

I've seen it loosely mentioned here and there in passing, but I really feel like this would be a big thing to help improve with the system in general besides the usual gripes of Increasing Plate Amounts and Increasing the Dresser Limit. Since a lot of these items on the mog station are solely bought for glamour it would be best to make them safely usable with the new glamour system.

Tl;Dr, Putting Mog Station Items in the Amorie would be nice as I don't like deleting real money and I use the Scion's Rouge Boots for like 50% of my favorite glamours ^^'

    EDIT : Also Wedding Items. While indirectly a mog station item (from getting the eternal bond) I still really don't want to destroy my wedding suit either ;-;

It wouldn't even allow me to put the wedding outfit in the dresser, unless I'm going insane and couldn't see it. So I mean, if we're going to make them non-dresserable, they need to be at least armoireable. Because of that I can't actually use the wedding outfit in a plate, it seems.

I was too afraid to try to be honest, but yeah I did noticed my ring didnt show up as an option to put in the dresser either, I just thought it was the only thing. The thought passed my mind to try it and i immediately just threw them in a retainer to prevent me from accidentally doing it lol. For now I have the Best Man slacks and chest piece dyed white, but the color accents are definitely not the same.

I'm really hopping the coming patches have a decent focus on expanding the Amorie's usability. It's no longer just a matter of freeing up inventory, but more so extending the usability of the of the glamour dresser system by indirectly adding more glamour slots.

I have read you can't put wedding outfit or artifact weapons into the storage, which makes sense from their intended usage point of view. To my knowledge, you need to have wedding dress to be able to have a wedding, and artifact weapons have always been upgradeable projects so their continued existence is needed as real items.

That said, it seems to me they never even realized to consider people would be reluctant to commit an item into a separate and ultimately very limited special inventory. It's like saying furniture should be exhausted once it's placed, and ironically in this patch they actually released the wallpapers and roof lamps from that predicament because of public outcry, just to introduce a new system that suffers from the same fallacy.

You don't need the dress to have a wedding, only the wristlet/ring.

For relics, replicas exist, and work with the dresser.

I'm of two minds on the mog items, though. I definitely agree that you should have access to the item as you please, you've paid money for it, after all.

But at the same time, for all the glamour items you buy, items that you will only ever use for glamour, that serve no other real purpose, and aren't really used as legitimate pieces of equipment, you're not really losing out on much by dumping them into the Dresser. You get all the same functionality out of the items as glamours (short a few fringe cases, retainers, squads, etc, which will be expanded on in the future), so why is it so unacceptable?

To repeat, though, I agree that you should still get to keep the items; paying money ought to mean you get to do with it what you want. But, logically? Eh, may as well stash them in the dedicated glamour inventory (as long as you're not among those hurting for space).

The problem is specifically the "hurting for space" aspect, and expectations that at some point one would need to feed room for current glamours at which point the "permanently in dresses even if I don't want to glamour into it right now" items can become a problem. If the dresser was of unlimited space so the items put there could have quaranteed existence then putting the mog items there shouldn't be a problem. It would be like mounts, you use up the item to get that glamour permanently. But as long as the dresser demands people cycle things in it, anything put into it is practically gone.

The way I see it, had they unveiled an "unlimited space" glamour dresser from the start, things very quickly would've started breaking, more band-aid fixes would need applied, with an end result possibly being even less desirable.

Like I said, I agree that the limitation is a valid complaint for now, but it's a shortsighted one; the limitation is one that's easy to raise as they determine how much stress it puts on the system.

I understand why they didn't give unlimited dresser, and agree with your reasoning why. My argument is that the limit+destruction is a combination that makes it unbearable at the moment. If we could
    a) take out items from the dresser at will OR
    b) use items in our inventory as well when saving plates
    It wouldn't be as unbearable.

Incidentally, how many moogle shop glamour items there exists now?
